- Our current session manager has thousands of users and applications defined. Can InterSession use these definitions directly?
You will need to run our conversion tools to translate your current definitions to the InterSession equivalents. These tools are easy to use and is included in the product.
- Which session managers do you have conversion tools for?
Currently, we have conversion tools for CA-TPX, CA Solve:Access, CA Teleview, IBM CL/SuperSession, IBM NVAS and Network Director.
If your session manager isn't listed, we will create the tool for free upon request from you.
- Today we pay a lot for the support of our TN3270 clients. Can a conversion to InterSession help us reduce this cost?
Yes, you can use our built-in web server for TN3270 access, which means that you just need a browser, like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Apple Safari. For those of you who rather work from a tablet, we have apps for both IOS and Android.
- At times our cpu is heavily loaded, can InterSession reduce the CPU usage?
InterSession has a small footprint to start with. If you also use our built-in TN3270 server you can save even more cycles.
